Breast milk contains the right proportion of the nutrients required for a newborn baby. It is a perfect food that helps in the development of both the mind and the body of the child. The skin to skin bond between the baby and the mother is very essential as it creates a sense of security and bond. There are several benefits of breastfeeding. The baby gets the essential vitamins, nutrients, fats, proteins, and antibodies which help in the overall development. It is recommended by many health officials that breastfeeding must be done till 6 months. For the first six months of the baby’s life, many things are required for the baby’s development, and breast milk provided everything. The thick and yellowish fluid produced just after birth is low in sugar and high in protein. The antibodies present in the milk help the baby in fighting against the bacteria and viruses. The antibodies are secreted in the breast milk by the mom. Although, strict hygiene is mandatory before taking care of the kid.

The size of the uterus which grew bigger during delivery also comes to its normal size once you start breastfeeding your child.
